About this tool

Remove GPS metadata from photo: Create a newly encoded JPEG copy so EXIF/GPS metadata from the source photo is not carried forward.

Use cases

  • Share a location-safe copy of a phone photo.
  • Keep the original photo unchanged while exporting a clean copy.
  • Avoid upload-based metadata removal tools.

How to use it

  1. Select a local file as input.
  2. Click Run and wait for processing.
  3. Download or copy the output.

Notes

  • Runs locally in your browser; files are not uploaded to MakeTool servers.
  • Local-only processing with no network required.
  • The output is a new cleaned copy; the original photo file is not modified.
  • HEIC/HEIF support depends on the browser’s local image decoder.
